Interior & Exterior Radon System
What is an Active Soil Depressurization System?
Active Soil Depressurization (ASD) is a term that describes a group of techniques used to reduce radon, water vapor, soil gas and volatile organic compound (VOC) concentrations in homes and other buildings. ASD techniques create a negative pressure field beneath the structure, inhibiting radon, moisture and VOC entry by drawing gases and vapor from beneath the slab and venting above the roofline. For these applications, an ASD system generally includes one or more draw (or suction) points, PVC pipe and a fan specifically designed for ASD. Click on the products below to learn more.
