Proven Ventilation Products
Kitchen Ventilation: Minimize moisture and grease build-up, maximize proper ventilation.
The RL Series fans remove kitchen contaminants, including smoke, grease heat, and moisture. Remote-mounted RL inline fans maintain better air quality with quieter, stronger ventilation. Their corrosion-resistant metal housing is specifically designed to withstand the harsh elements that cooking produces.
Bathroom Ventilation: Reduce moisture and prevent mold, mildew, bacteria and dust mites.
Spruce remote-mounted inline bath fans operate in true silence. Their balanced design and high quality motors offer the latest technology in home ventilation. Without proper ventilation, residual surface moisture builds up in the bathroom, most obviously on walls, linens, and rugs. Moisture buildup can cause or increase allergy symptoms by encouraging the growth of mold, mildew, bacteria and dust mites.
Garage Ventilation: Prevent harmful pollutants from entering the home.
Spruce manufactures 6 inline fans, both plastic and metal, that are ideal for garage ventilation. Their energy-efficient continuous operation will reduce harmful fumes and pollutants, and prevent them from entering the home by drawing them into a vent pipe and exhausting harmlessly into the outside air.
Make-Up Air Ventilation: Enhanced ventilation for better indoor air quality.
Bringing in fresh air is a priority for creating a healthy indoor environment. Combustion dryers, furnaces and water heaters require fresh air to operate properly. Many of today’s homes are built so tightly that air must be introduced by a fan. Spruce inline fans offer excellent performance with minimal sound.
Dryer Boosting Ventilation: There is a solution to getting clothes completely dry.
Adding a Spruce inline auxiliary fan to a drying system with long duct runs or multiple bends boosts system capacity, conserves energy and reduces both drying times and excessive wear and tear on the dryer. Five kits are available, offering two fan options and up to three switch choices: pressure sensing, current sensing, and pressure sensing with timer. Why use Make Up Air Products? To meet radon mitigation standards and avoid possible backdraft problems. The intake hood installs easily through the band joist or foundation wall and connects to ducting using a worm drive clamp. Make Up Air can then be routed to the desired location, typically near the furnace.
HomeAire Duct Boosting: Improve system balance and energy efficiency.
HomeAire's IDF Series 4", 6" and 8" inline duct boosting fans are ideal for ventilating a new addition and/or for improving the efficiency of an existing air system. Duct boosting will give an old forced air heating and cooling system the lift necessary to get conditioned air into newly expanded living or working areas as well as any other areas where it is needed.
Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV) and Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV)
By bringing in a continuous supply of fresh air and exhausting contaminated air, HRVs and ERVs can reduce radon levels in homes where Active Soil Depressurization is unlikely to be successful. The climate conditions where you are installing the equipment will determine whether you will need a Heat Recovery Ventilator or an Energy Recovery Ventilator. HRVs are usually recommended for colder climates with longer heating seasons. ERVs are used for warmer, more humid climates with long cooling seasons. They use enthalpic cores to transfer both heat and moisture. RadonAway offers effective solutions from Fantech and LifeBreath.
